Allaah is One; He is not three.

Allaah is One; He has no partners.

Allaah, there is no god except He, the Living, the Everlasting.

Neither dozing, nor sleep overtakes Him.

To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth.

Who is he that shall intercede with Him except by His

permission?

He knows that which is before them and that which is behind

them,

And they encompass nothing of His Knowledge except what He

willed.

His Chair embraces the heavens and the earth, and

the preserving of them does not weary Him.

He is the High, the Great.

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Say He is Allaah, the One!  Allaah, the Eternal Master on

whom all depend.  He begot not, nor was He begotten.

And there was none equal to Him.

"God" is a dictionary word with capital G. Those who translated the Bible deliberately provided this translation to replace the proper name of Allaah.

As a name, Allaah is mentioned in the ARABIC BIBLE 2,245 times; and it is mentioned in the Quraan 2,153 times.

YAHWEH is mentioned in the Arabic Bible 14 times only.

God is the deity believed to have begotten a son or that he is a composite of three gods together forming the one god in trinity.

Allaah has no partners, associates or sons. Also, Allaah is one beyond division. Allaah begets not and never was begotten. Allaah is The Creator.

"I AM ALLAAH",

not GOD, not YAHWEH, not JESUS, not YESHU

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

The expression "I am Allaah" is repeated in The Quraan 3 times relevant to Allaah's speaking directly to Prophet Moossa:

- "Verily! I am Allaah! There is no god but I, so (O Moossa) worship Me and perform prayers for My Remembrance".

- "O Moossa! Verily it is I, Allaah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise".

- "O Moossa! Verily I am Allaah, the Lord of mankind,

 jinn and all that exists!

Names of Allaah

“He is Allaah, beside Whom none has the right to be worshiped, the Knower of the unseen and the seen.  He is the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.  He is Allaah, beside Whom none has the right to be worshiped, the King, the Holy, the One free from all defects, the Giver of security, the Watcher over His creatures, the Almighty, the Compeller, the Supreme.  Glory be to Allaah!  High is He above all that they associate as partners with Him.  He is Allaah, the Creator, the Inventor of all things, and the Bestower of forms.  To Him belong the Best Names.  All that is in the heavens and the earth glorify Him.  And He is the Almighty, the Wise”. (59:22-24)

 Allaah said,

“And all the Most Beautiful Names belong to Allaah, so call Him by these names”. (7:180)

“Say: Invoke Allaah or invoke the Most Gracious; by whatever name you invoke Him, to Him belong the Best Names”. (17:110)

Also, Muhammad the Messenger of Allaah said:

“Allaah has ninety-nine names, one hundred minus one, whoever collects them, will enter Paradise”.

The Messenger of Allaah cited these ninety-nine names to which he referred above.  Narrators of the speeches of the Messenger of Allaah reported the relevant speech with several differences between their narrations.

The names of Allaah may fall under four categories.  These are names which Allaah:

-         Called Himself by.

-         Included in His Book.

-         Taught to one of His creation.

-         Favored Himself with, preserving them with Him in the unknown.

The fact that the names of Allaah are ordinary vocabulary of the language should not insinuate that these words could limit, quantify or subject Allaah to the senses of human beings.  Allaah is The Rich, The All-Hearing, The-All-Seeing, and The Alive.  A person can be rich, alive, capable of hearing and seeing.  The similarity in names should always be interpreted in the context that:

“… There is nothing whatever like unto Him …”.   (42:11)
